COVID-19 Update

Due to the uncertainties behind the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic and potential associated impacts this coming fall 2020, the SS&C Board of Directors overseeing the running of the Asilomar Signals, Systems and Computer Conference decided to move the 2020 conference event to a virtual format.

Our goal is to design an event which both presenters and attendees will find worthwhile and will engage our community to join us in this effort. Further details will be posted as they become available on the website.

We hope that you and your families are staying safe during the COVID-19 outbreak. We realize that current conditions are highly fluid and may directly impact our 2020 conference event. As a result, we are extending the submission deadline to May 15, and are exploring various options for the conference. Also, the deadline for the student paper contest has also been extended to May 15. Please continue to visit www.asilomarssc.org for updates and further information.

The Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems, and Computers is a yearly Conference held on the Asilomar Grounds in Pacific Grove, CA, USA. The IEEE Signal Processing Society is a technical co-sponsor. It provides a forum for presenting recent and novel work in various areas of theoretical and applied signal processing.

General areas of interest to the forum include:

  • Architecture and Implementation
  • Array Signal Processing
  • Biomedical Signal & Image Processing
  • Communication Systems
  • MIMO Communications & Signal Processing
  • Networks
  • Signal Processing & Adaptive Systems
  • Speech, Image & Video Processing

Recent meetings have presented a wide array of work ranging from results in blind source separation, random networks, MIMO communications, low dimensional signal models to applications of signal processing in control, wireless communications, financial engineering, smart grids, biological systems, medical imaging, and big data.
